Chocolate Chip S’mores Cookie Sandwich- Holstein Housewares + Casa Gioia

Posted By Holstein Housewares

Got a sweet tooth? Casa Gioia @casagioiaus visited us and baked a classic campfire treat in the comfort of our Holstein Kitchen. Chocolate Chip S’mores Cookie Sandwich, delicious gooey bliss!!

S’mores are a traditional American treat, ooey-gooey goodness smooshed together. It consists of milk chocolate, crisp graham crackers and toasted marshmallows. S’mores is a dessert often associated with camping and the outdoors, since you usually need a campfire to roast them; however, we wanted to bring this popular treat indoors and twisted the ingredients just a bit.

We replaced the graham crackers with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. This twist was worth it! The s’more cookie sandwich is perfect for summer parties, kid-friendly, and simply FUN!

We used our Holstein Waffle Maker (#waffleit) to bake the chocolate chip cookies and in less than 10 minutes the room smelled amazing and our cookie waffles were hot and ready to serve!

Top them with milk chocolate candy bar pieces and marshmallows…. For the finishing touch, we used a kitchen torch to bring the roasted flavor of a traditional dessert to this better version, can we say yummy one more time?!
